It honestly bothers me when people tell me not to join the Marines. They tell me to join the navy or air force, and don’t get me wrong, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with either branch. I just don’t have a feel for them, and I would much love to be a Marine. It would be an amazing honor. I don’t think these adults understand that once I’m 18 I can freely enlist for the Marines.
It is my choice.
They can either support me or leave my life.
